Day Trips & Half-Day Safari Adventures

Step through the gates of Nairobi National Park — the world's only wildlife sanctuary set against a glittering city skyline — and within minutes you're tracking lions, rhinos, and buffaloes across open grassland while skyscrapers shimmer on the horizon. It's surreal, it's exhilarating, and it's just the beginning.

Venture further to Lake Nakuru's flamingo-fringed shores and towering euphorbia forests, the elephant kingdom of Amboseli beneath Kilimanjaro's glaciers, or track critically endangered black rhinos at Ol Pejeta Conservancy. All in a single exhilarating day — and back in Nairobi by sunset.

Multi-Day Expeditions

Masai Mara, Great Rift Valley & Highland Safaris

The Masai Mara needs no introduction — it's where the Great Migration thunders across the Mara River in a frenzy of splashing hooves and snapping crocodile jaws. Where leopards drape across acacia branches at dusk, silhouetted against a tangerine sky. Where cheetahs explode across open plains in pursuit of Thomson's gazelle at speeds that blur the camera.

Our multi-day group safaris immerse you in this wilderness for two or three unforgettable nights, with dawn-to-dusk game drives, comfortable lodge accommodation, and the kind of wildlife drama that makes your heart race long after you've returned home. Venture deeper into the Rift Valley highlands — flamingo-pink lakes, ancient crater rims, and forests alive with black-and-white Colobus monkeys swinging through canopy.

From Diani & Mombasa

Group Safari Tours from the Kenyan Coast

Combine your Indian Ocean holiday with a thrilling safari departure from Diani Beach or Mombasa. Journey inland through lush coastal forests and across the Taru Desert to the vast red-earth wilderness of Tsavo East National Park — Kenya's largest protected area and home to the legendary red elephants, prowling lion prides, and some of the most dramatic savannah landscapes on the continent.

Two days, one incredible adventure — and you're back on the beach for sunset cocktails with stories that'll make the whole resort jealous.

What Makes Our Group Safaris Different

🚙

4×4 Land Cruiser — Every Trip

🧭

Guides Who Read the Wild

Our network of expert guides average 10+ years in the bush. They read animal behaviour, track predator movements, and position your vehicle for the most dramatic sightings. Fluent in English and passionate about conservation.

All-Inclusive — No Surprises

Park entrance fees, game drives, meals on safari, comfortable accommodation (multi-day), and bottled water — all included. You'll know your total cost before you book. The only extras are personal items and gratuities.

📸

Prime Sighting Positions

Smaller group sizes mean less jostling for the perfect angle. Every seat is a window seat, every roof hatch your personal observation deck. From telephoto lenses to smartphones, every frame is gallery-worthy.

Group Safari FAQs

How many people are in a group safari?+

Our group safaris require a minimum of 7 travellers per departure. Maximum capacity is determined by the Land Cruiser configuration — typically 7 guests per vehicle for comfortable game viewing with individual window seats.

What vehicle do you use for group safaris?+

Every group departure uses a 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, oversized windows, and individual seats. No minivans — ever. The same rugged vehicle used by professional wildlife filmmakers across East Africa.

Are park entrance fees included?+

Yes — all national park and reserve entrance fees are included in every group safari package. No hidden costs at the gate. What you see on the price is what you pay.

Can I join as a solo traveller?+

Absolutely! Solo travellers are welcome on any group departure. It's one of the best ways to experience Kenya's wildlife affordably while meeting fellow adventurers from around the world. Many lifelong friendships start on our group safaris.

How does pickup work for Nairobi National Park?+

For the Nairobi NP half-day group tour, you meet directly at the KWS Main Gate on Langata Road (outside Wildly Coffee Restaurant). Morning departures at 6:30 AM, afternoon at 1:30 PM. Optional hotel pickup/drop-off is available at $10 per person each way.

Are meals included on group day trips?+

Lunch and bottled water are included on all full-day group tours (Amboseli, Lake Nakuru & Naivasha, Ol Pejeta). The Nairobi NP half-day tour includes bottled water. Multi-day group safaris include all meals on safari.

What accommodation is used on multi-day group safaris?+

Multi-day group tours offer Economy and Comfort tiers. Economy uses well-rated budget lodges and tented camps, while Comfort upgrades to mid-range properties with enhanced amenities. Both tiers are inside or near the national park.

Is a group safari suitable for families with children?+

Yes! Families love our group safaris. Children are fascinated by the wildlife, and the Land Cruiser's pop-up roof gives kids an incredible vantage point. We recommend the Nairobi NP half-day tour for younger children and multi-day Mara trips for ages 6+.
