Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
Approx. 3 hours drive — Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy views of the escarpment before arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its birdlife and thriving rhino sanctuary. Look for rhinos, lions, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, and a dazzling array of flamingoes (seasonal). In the evening, relax at your lodge or tented camp.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve
Approx. 5–6 hours drive — Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast and a morning game drive, head south to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s premier wildlife reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and your first afternoon game drive. The Mara is world‑renowned for its abundant wildlife and stunning landscapes, and it’s one of the best places on Earth to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and buffaloes.
Day 3 & 4: Full Days in Masai Mara
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Spend two full days exploring every corner of the Masai Mara. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five, graceful giraffes, and herds of zebra and wildebeest. If you’re visiting during the Great Migration season (July–October), witness breathtaking river crossings and predator‑prey drama that define the Mara’s ecosystem. Optional experiences include cultural visits to Maasai villages or sunrise hot air balloon safaris over the Mara plains.
Day 5: Masai Mara – Serengeti National Park
Approx. 4–5 hours (via border crossing) — Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today we cross from Kenya into Tanzania, entering the boundless Serengeti National Park. Travel through open landscapes and arrive in time for an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti’s endless plains offer vast concentrations of wildlife—lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and vast herds of wildebeests and zebras roam freely.
Day 6 & 7: Full Days in Serengeti
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Dedicated to adventure, these two days in the Serengeti are filled with unlimited game drives. Track lions lounging in the shade, cheetahs sprinting across the plains, and elephants and hippos near waterholes. Depending on the time of year, you may witness dramatic herds migrating across this timeless wilderness. This is where safari dreams are made.
Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Approx. 3–4 hours drive — Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Depart the Serengeti for the legendary Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at Olduvai Gorge—one of the most significant archaeological sites on Earth, where tools and fossils shed light on early human history. Later, arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim and descend into the crater itself for an unforgettable game drive. Because this is a unique, self‑contained ecosystem, it’s one of the best places in Africa to see high concentrations of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, buffaloes, elephants, flamingoes, and more.
Day 9: Ngorongoro – Tarangire National Park
Approx. 3 hours drive — Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast at Ngorongoro, journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its majestic elephant herds and impressive baobab trees. Take an afternoon game drive as the park’s resident wildlife—including zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and predators—gather near the Tarangire River. Overnight at your lodge or tented camp.
Day 10: Tarangire – Arusha / Nairobi
Approx. 3 hours to Arusha or 7 hours to Nairobi — Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Enjoy a final morning game drive and then depart Tarangire. If your plan is to return to Tanzania, you’ll arrive in Arusha for drop‑off at your hotel or the airport.
